Stylin’ Strawberry Shortcake doll

When it comes to toys selection for the coming Christmas season, I can tell you that Hasbro Canada has a huge variety of them.

I’ve been waiting for a couple of year to get fun toys for my little girl.  This December she will be turning four years old and a wider range of toys is opening up to us. 

One character that I didn’t expect her to love is Strawberry Shortcake.   When Strawberry first came on the market in the 80s I was older and didn’t had an interest in her.   But since then, she reappeared on the shelves in store and my little girl absolutely love her.   I will admit that we do not have cable and that she has not been exposed much to Strawberry’s adventures.  But Jasmine knows who the character is and point her out in the store when we go check out the toy section.  

So when I got the opportunity to review a Strawberry Shortcake product I picked the one that I knew would interest my little girl – the Stylin’ Strawberry Shortcake doll.

The doll is about 28 centimeters high and smells berry nice too!   The hair are long enough even for me to try out French braids on her before I attempt to do it on my girl!  *grin*  And looks at those bright green eyes of hers… how can’t you just fall in love with this friendly character?   Strawberry Shortcake and her friends have definitively grown up since their first appearance many years ago.   And now a new generation of little girls are discovering them.   Isn’t it sweet?  This Strawberry Shortcake doll is perfect for a little stylish girl like mine!
