Sports Illustrated Kids

Do you have a child who enjoys sports so much that you just know he/she will enjoy reading Sports Illustrated Kids?   Or your child/nephew/niece has all the sport gears that you can think off and wonder what do get them for Christmas?image

Well let me present you Sports Illustrated Kids.    SPORTS ILLUSTRATED Kids is the magazine for boys and girls who love sports. It presents sports the way kids want to read about them: with great action photos, easy-to-read stories about star athletes, helpful instructional tips from the pros, and humor, comics, and activities.   Not only that but if you have a reluctant reader who enjoys sports SI Kids is a great way to encourage him/her to read   The magazine has won highest honors from the Association of Educational Publishers and the Parents' Choice Award.

As part of the Christmas stocking I received two previously published magazines so that my kids could check them out.   One of them had a golden Mario running to catch coins and the other one had the bust of an athlete made out of Lego.   My two oldest kids imagegrabbed the magazines to check it out.    The pictures in the magazine are stunning.  One of them was showing Gabby Douglas during one of the gymnastics competition at the Olympics.   Seeing her back backward and concentrated is breathtaking.  Inside the magazine, the child can also get some sport cards of athletes in various sports.  On these cards, you can get more information about the person and stats as well.

In one of the magazines the kids were also able to read more about the history of sports gaming – from 1977 to this day.   Seeing the different platforms is always educational I think.

SI Kids is a great Christmas gifts for a child in  your life.   And you are in luck as these days there is a special offer for anyone subscribing - receive an entire year of SI Kids in print and on tablet for only $19.95!    You can subscribe HERE.
