TOS Homeschool Crew Year 4

Are you homeschooling or considering homeschooling?   And you would like to review homeschool products?  

Well, get prepare now because in order to even be considered for next year's Crew (2011-2012), potential members will be required to have an established blog and post at least 4 times per month.

Having Google Friend Connect (or something to track blog following that is visible on the blog) will also be required (a following of at least 25 people will be our standard).

So, if you are interested and don't have a blog - work on it now...

 

And as my friend Vickie (whom I met during the TOS Crew of 2008-2009) says…

And what an awesome experience. If you can post updates on FB all the time, you can blog :) If you like to chat/write...you can review and blog about it! If you like looking trying out different homeschool materials...get your blog ready and apply :)

 

And I have to admit that personally I got introduced to some wonderful products over the past three years.   Products that I doubt I would have known about.

And being on the crew gave me the taste of what reviewing books was – which I decided to continue after Year 1.

Since then I have expanded my opportunities and I simply LOVE it!

Back on board the cruise and another news

This week I have been asked to jump on board of the TOS Homeschool Crew to finish the 2nd voyage.    I gladly accepted and look forward to the great products the crew will review for the rest of the year.

On another note, I am trying to expand my experience at reviewing products.   I love books but it would be nice to review other things as well like video games for Wii and Nintendo DS, movies, DIsney products, RV Products, more toys.  

Anyhow, when I have a minute or two, I send emails to various companies to see if they would be interested in a review.   Sometimes I get no answers, sometimes they tell me no, other times they say yes.     Right now, I am waiting to see what and when I will receive something.  But it's exciting.

A new adventure awaits!

Back in 2008, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine was researching bloggers to participate to their TOS Homeschool Crew. The Crew would have a job to reviews homeschool products during a period of 9 months. I was very fortunate to have being part of the crew since last Fall and since the voyage is coming to an end I am looking forward at expanding my review experiences with other publishers or products.



While being part of the Crew, I re-discover my love of writing. Back when I was in high school I was part of the high school paper and enjoyed my time informing my fellow students of the various activities that were going on.



I look forward to have more opportunities to review books or products.



In the meantime, I will post the reviews I made in the past 9 months with the Crew. As other reviews come, I will post them here as well.



I hope that my reviews will be enjoyed by whoever stop by this blog.
