TOS Crew Blog Walk - Week 8

Photobucket
Here’s the time for the weekly blog walk among the participants of the TOS Crew.  Imagine my surprise when I received an email from google alert telling me my blog was listed elsewhere.   When I clicked on the links I realized that my blogs were listed for the TOS Crew Blog Walk of this week….  *grin*    I’ve been busy this week being the taxi for the kids as they go to camp, wrapping up the business finances, finishing a couple of reviews and completing a document for the school year that I hadn’t had time so far to check the blog walk.
1. Ramblings from the Crazy House
Diane is the author of this blog.   She blogs about a variety of subjects from education, Life in the Crazy House, Promos and Reviews.
2. Chicagoland Homeschool Network
Chicagoland Homeschool Network is a free resource to help families in the Chicagoland area connect with resources to enhance their homeschool experience.  Erin is updating this blog.   Chicago is a wonderful city.   I visited it once while going to a church planting course.    Lots of museums to visit and fun things to do.   Worth going with kids for sure!  And knowing that there is a site completely dedicated for homeschoolers in Chicago, I will keep this in mind for when we bring our kids to Chicago!
3. Marine Corps Nomads
Heather is the mom behind Marine Corps Nomads.   She has one child and her family is prone to move a lot since her husband is an active duty Marine.   Currently stationed in the desert of Arizona, their homeschool is full of fun discoveries.   She recently posted a first part of their construction of a volcano.    Sound fantastic.   Can’t wait to read the 2nd part of it….
4. Faith, Family and Fun
Heather is the author being this blog.   She is a mom of many kids whose ages range from 5 to 23 years old.   This blog is all about parenting, homeschool, and reviews.  She recently reviewed what looks like a wonderful drawing product called Simple Draw with Bob Parsons.    Look great from the results of the drawing of her son.
5. Books and Bairns
Heather is the mom behind this blog.    They have 7 kids both biological and adopted.    Her blogs is full of insights in their family life and how they homeschool. They recently had a set-back in the request of a visa for a girl they would love to adopt.    It must be hard for her and for the family.   I pray that God’s hand will guide the next step to take concerning this situation and that an happy resolution will be found soon.
6. Chatter, Clatter and Things That Matter
Heidi is a mom of two kids who is sharing what happens in their homeschool on this blog.   Recently, we received a package that was suppose to have Latin textbooks in it.   Problem is…  well the books were missing.   So at this moment, someone somewhere in the postal service is supposed to see if they can track them down….   I hope they will and they will arrive safe and sounds at their destination within a week as they were lent to them.     They also did a FANTASTIC job is decorating the room of their teenage girl.   Love the colors!
7. Canadianladybug Reviews!
If you are here and read this entry, you already know the blog.   This is my review blog – where I post my reviews about products and books I receive.
8. Life at Oak Grove
Life at Oak Grove is our personal blog where I share our adventure in homeschool and our activities.   I also write tidbits about faith and Christ in my life.    Enjoy discovering more about me there!
9. Home Sweet Home(school)

10. a glimpse of our life
Jennifer  is the author of this blog and like the title suggest it you will get a glimpse of their like.    Reviews, gratitude, family activities are all subject of entries.    I have discovered an interesting meme while looking her blog.  I think I will look into http://www.aholyexperience.com/.   I’m a little bit behind… but I love the idea.
Well, that’s it for this week.    These are all First Mates of the crew.   Team leaders is other crew members from all around the US, Canada and the world.
See you next time for the next blog walk…

TOS Crew Blog Walk – Week 7

 Photobucket

This is week seven of the blog walking of the members of the TOS Homeschool Crew.

1. Closing Time

Erin is the author of this blog and she is the mom of two little girls whom she homeschools,   She has just celebrated her 10th anniversary and her birthday within the past week.    She also participate to Tuesdays Unwrapped – celebrating the small things and she wrote a cute entry on tiny nachos back in early June.  It reminded me that my own kids react that way sometimes…

2. One Blessed Mamma

Amy is the mom of 4 kids.   In her blog she shares what is happening in their family life.    The entry I particularly liked was the one about free food at Chick-Fil-A.   I’m not sure I would be willing to go for this but I must admit I wore a crazy hat once to go to Michael’s and got a wonderful baking rack for free.   WoW!   I was impressed because this is not a small rack I got.   So way to go for you family Amy – Free food is always nice to get!

3. El Cloud Homeschool: Busy Minds, Busy Hands, Busy Feet

April is the author of this blog.   She is a mom of seven kids and loves to scrapbook in her spare time.   She also shares the lessons she learned about homeschooling which I find very true.  On her blog not only will you read reviews but also life in her family like moving her mother-in-law and tidbits on how a week is going.    Get to know her better by discovering who she is via her blog!

4. Alive in Spirit

Barbara is the author behind this blog.   She gives a little glimpse in her life with two girls.   Recently she wrote an entry about quietness before the storm.   Aren’t we all there sometimes in life…    Either we know it or not – storms are brewing.    We can be prepared by trusting God.   Great reminder Barbara.

5. Ozark Rumblings

BethBray is the writer of this blog.    Recently she shared about a VBS her son attended and I must admit this is one cool VBS.   It looked fun and very instructive to me.   A perfect combination for learning don’t you think?  Her blog also have reviews and homeschool entries.

6. Army of 5

Chris is a mom of three kids and also a part time veterinarian.   WoW!   I always wanted to be a veterinarian but never completed that dream.    To think that she also reviews for the Crew as well as for publishers is incredible.   Here and there she post wonderful pictures – I saw cute picture of a horse and a duckling…

7. Fenced In Family

Cindy is the author of this blog and recently launched a new business venture with her husband called A Homemade Heritage.    They are planning to sell homemade items like candles, lye soap, glycerin soap, laundry soap kits, bath crystal, crocheted pot holders, dishcloths and hair scrunchies.     I love it when creativity are part of an entreprise.  I hope that God will bless them in this new adventure…   If I go to West Virginia – I’ll make sure to look at fairs and purchase a few things.    The Garden Friends glycerin soap are very cute!

8. Debbie's Digest

Debbie is a mom of four kids ranging from 13 to 24 years old.   She participates to the Wordless Wednesday as well as the 365 project which gives a glimpse of the life of the author throughout the year.    I love this project but I learned about it later this year so I am keeping an eye open for next year.    That should be fun.   Recently, Debbie was able to add more books to the family library when she went to a surplus store and got 45 books for 10 cents each!!!  And in there you can find fabulous fun books too!   *sigh*   I wish this kind of store would be available here…

9. Footprints in the Butter

Debra is a mom and homeschooler who also write reviews.    I think it is fun to see the same books that I have reviewed as well.   Debra also shares about her participation on the Bible in 90 days challenge.

10. Got Chai?

Denise is a homeschooling mom of three.  Not only does she reviews but she works as well as the Media Relations Liaison for Vala Dancewear/Class Act Tutu and direct the Children’s Ministry at her church.   While looking her blog I’ve discovered that there is a new website dedicated to mommies using the Wii Fit to get in shape.   I used the Wii Fit to loose some weight last year and I know I need to get back on it… maybe this will encourage me to get back in shape.   Thanks for sharing the Wii Mommies site!

See you all at the next blog walk!

TOS Crew Blog Walk – Week 6

Here’s the time for the weekly blog walk among the participants of the TOS Crew.

1. Deanna’s Corner

As the title of this blog suggest, Deanna is the author of it.  She has been blogging since 2007 and has done reviews before.  On her blog she also shares coupons, part of their life and more.   She has written an interesting post on commercials and TV.    The junk that we found now on TV lead us to decide to remove the cable and choose the shows our kids would watch.  The money we save on cable and such permits us to get DVDs which are appropriate to our children’s ages.  Besides, we also avoid the whole commercials issue.   I like reading her thoughts about it.

2. Light, Liberty, and Learning

Denise is the mom of four kids who has started her blog this year. She shares a little bit of their homeschool journey, photography and more.   This month she shared about making a chocolate chip scones which look totally yummy to me.   I love chocolate, I love scones… looks like a perfect recipe for me to try!  Thanks for sharing it.

3. Bunny Trails

Dianne is a recovering Dr Pepper addict and mom of two teenage boys.   She is also an amateur photography enthusiast (nice to meet another one) as well as a Scrabble junkie.  I love her pictures that she post for every wordless wednesday.    Beautiful work!

4. Flowers N Plaid Homeschool

Donna is a mom of 6 who homeschool the three youngest kids in the house.  And to top it off, she lives in Australia a country that I would like so much to visit one day.  Don’t ask me why but I’ve dreamed of this since – FOREVER!   She has an entry that is a good reminder for everyone who have a family – the importance to have a will and affairs in order if something happen to you.

5. Gadow Ohana

Doreen is the author of this blog.  She is also new on the blogosphere and seems eager to embark on our adventure of reviewing homeschool products.   As she said it “As I dip my toe into this new adventure of doing curriculum reviews for the Old Schoolhouse Magazine, my head is spinning both with confusion and excitement.”   Take your time to learn the blog world, Doreen.   You will have more than the toe dipped soon….  *grin*

6. His Wonderful Works

Elinette is the mom of three kids – 2 boys and a girl who  like me never thought she could homeschool.  She has two interesting entries on travelling games.   Being a family who travels with our RV, I am always open to find new opportunity to entertain the kids on the road.  Thanks for sharing these games!

7. Expand

Elizabeth is a mum of two kids and is a new blogger in the blogosphere.  She loves Starbuck and is looking forward to discover the products aligned for the upcoming reviews.  Welcome aboard Elizabeth!

8. Confessions of a Homeschooler

Erica has tons of fun activities to do with little ones.   I particularly liked the Rainbow Eraser Painting because I have the exact same book in French.   What a neat idea to mix a story and art together.    I’m going to use some of her ideas I think (I also have some Rainbow fish books at home and I love her craft….  very creative!).  I also enjoyed her entry on making strawberry jam because it reminded me of our first experience of doing so ourselves earlier in June.

9. The Sojourner

Erica likes good deals and I TOTALLY understands her.   On her blog, she lists the specials in the various grocery stores around her place – which is very interesting.  From the specials going on I wish I would live in her area.   I tip my hat for her to take the time to list such good deals on her site.

10. A Full Heart

Erin is the mom of 5 boys and believe me when I say she must have her hands full…   From her heart you will discover her family, their homeschool and whatever happens in their life.    I smile when I saw the Wordless Wednesday entry she had recently – boys are indeed monkeys don’t they?    LOL  It reminded me of my oldest son climbing the walls near the living room and declare himself to be Spider-man.

Next walk will be next week!

TOS Crew Blog Walking – Week 5

Photobucket

This is week five of the blog walking of the members of the TOS Homeschool Crew.

1. Buckaroo Days

Cheryl is the author of this blog.  This is a fresh new blog that the author will be filling up with interesting reviews during the new voyage of the Crew.   She also shares about the adventures her family is doing like this trip in Washington.    One day I want to visit the capital of the US.

2. Our Homeschool Reviews

This mom homeschool her daughter and will bring her to experience a variety of activities like the bird feeding.   This is so fun – we have done that with our kids last year and they enjoyed it so much – especially Dominic my animal lover child.   Other interesting entries are the Thirfty Thursdays which will give you free products to check out during that week.     For example, McDonald’s in the US is giving away a free 5 oz smoothie from July 22-24th from 7am to 7pm.   Yum!   Makes me want to move on the other side of the border now…

3. Reed, Party of 6

I love the heading of this blog.   Very personal.   Very fun to look at.   This homeschooler has 4 kids like me – except they are a little bit older.    She does a weekly wrap-up of the events that happened in her family – which I find totally interesting.   I also loved her entry titled “If you can’t beat it, Play in it!!!!”  - it is totally a thing my husband would do with the kids… LOL

4. Training Hearts at Home

Christy is the author of this blog and she is the mom of four beautiful children.  In her blog she shares her project to created quilts for a husband and his daughters who have lost their mom/wife to cancer.   What a wonderful project to do and to show love to a family who went through a lot.    Bless her heart for doing something like that.

5. Along The Way

Cindy is the author of this blog and I must admit that I love the owls on the top of her blog.   (but I am biased since I am a bird lover…!).  She is also part of my mini-crew – The Bluenose mini-crew.    Her recipe of Zucchini Pizza Bites looks delicious and very tasty.   Perfect snack for everyone don’t you think?  She is the mom of two wonderful kids and creates fun activities for them to do.  (she is giving ideas as well….!).

6. I Love Science!

This is Cindy’s blog and she is new in the blogosphere.   She has been homeschooling for 16 years now and loves to organize field trips.

7. Through the Calm and Through the Storm

Cristi is the writer behind this blog.    She shares events that her family experiences like a trip in Assateague Island (Don’t ask me where it is but I like the name of it…) as well as fun pictures while she participates to Wordless Wednesday.

8. Created for Home

Crissyanna is the author behind this blog.   She is currently in the process of moving the blog from Blogger to Word Press.      Her husband also has also took the time to give a new look to her blog.

9. Tractors and Tire Swings

This mom of two boys have an interesting title for her blog.   I like the tire swing that is picture in the header.  (If this in your front yard?).  She had the heartache to see her middle child died after one hour on this earth.   HUGS!  I also loves the pictures of her two sons in the snow.   Beautiful!

10. Guiding Light Homeschool

In the first blog entry I’ve read, I discover how to make a rabbit carrier in a step-by-step process.   Very interesting.  She also created a mem titled “Walking With Jesus” which I find quite interesting.   It is a good reminder to ponder on what Jesus is doing in our life and tell the world about it.   Wonderful Idea!

And now week 5 of the blog walking is complete.   There are more blog walks coming – I promise…

TOS Crew Blog Walking –Week 4

Photobucket

This is week four of the blog walking of the members of the TOS Homeschool Crew.

1. King Alfred Academy

This is Brittney’s blog and it is also where you can see stunning pictures of her family.    She has two boys and teach them with a classical influence mostly Charlotte Mason.   She also posted some wonderful pictures of the travel she has done with her husband and this only gives me a taste of visiting the world.   One of these days, I want to be able to bring my family in Europe and beyond to discover new places…

2. Confessions of An Organized Homeschool Mom

Meet Bethany who is a pro at homeschooling with 10 years under her belt.   Apparently, she is also a master of organization.   I might find some interesting ideas to apply in my household/homeschool from her.   Reading about portfolio is interesting and helps me to remember to keep track of the things we do during our homeschool time.   You never know when you might need to list them.

3. Curriculum Reviews from Oak Creek Farmhouse

This blog is pretty new and will soon be filled with interesting reviews as the blogger will receive her products from the vendors participating to the TOS Homeschool Crew viral marketing project.

4. I Can't Decide

Briana is the Mama and has 8 kids.  She homeschool 6 of these kids while the other two are away at school.  This blog.  She has an interesting garden (which I SO wish I had in my backyard…) and grow anything from flowers to vegetables.    One of these days, I want to have a garden too!

5. My Life on A Taffy Pull

Mom of 6 kids who takes amazing pictures as well.   The bees in their backyard, the tiny frog, the turtle ponds…  WoW!   their backyard is full of little treasures let me tell you.  I also see an amazing garden which gives me ideas for the future…  *grin*

6. Losing My Tale

The subtitle of this blog is “Adventures In Finding My Story”.   Kind of cute I find.   Because life is indeed and adventures.   We are just passing through this life and eventually live in an awesome place.   This blog has recipes, projects that they do, creatures they meet like Mrs Turtle (I once had the experience to see a turtle laying her eggs – WoW!   simply breathtaking if you ask me…) and more.

7. Made in His Image

Cassie is the author of this blog and as she says herself you will find posts about home, family, parenting, homeschooling, faith, saving money, product reviews, army life and more.   She has 4 kids  and expecting #5.   I look forward to get to know her more via the Crew this year.

8. Serenades and Solace

When I opened this blog, I was reminded of God’s faithfulness not by one but two rainbows.   Actually I saw this picture elsewhere in the past and loved it.   So imagine my delight to see it on the blog of alecat whom lives in Australia (a country that I dream to visit one day!).   They are a family of four who have been homeschooling since 2003.    I’m excited to discover life in Australia especially with homeschooling as a lifestyle.

9. Our Village is a Little Different

Here’s the blog of Catherine who homeschool twin boys with Asperger Syndrome.   She will be in her 2nd year of homeschooling her kids.    This is a new blog from what I can see and I can’t wait to see how homeschooling kids with Asperger Syndrome will be.    It amazes me to see mother taking seriously the education of their special need child(ren) and be willing to homeschool.   I guess I would do the same in a similar situation.   My nephew is a special need child and he enjoyed going to his special class.   He has progressed a lot since starting to go to this class it is quite unbelievable.   But doing it at home can also produce amazing results.   So I tip my hat to all mothers who homeschool their special need kids.  You are ALL in my prayers that God will bless you by doing so and that He will pour lots of patience in your life.

10. SisterTipster's Tell'n It!

AH!  SisterTipster was part of the first year crew and I am delighted to see her join us back this year.    Her blog contains lots of freebies (which makes me want to move to the US!), information to homeschool various ages from preschool to high school as well as a multitude of other interesting information.  My favorite I think it the entry she had about canning cucumbers.   (Canning is something we want to experiment more this year – we started with strawberries and plan to finish with tomatoes…).   Welcome back SisterTipster!

Voilà!  the blog walking for this week is completed.   Now rest your feet and cool off in the shade (well is is crazy HOT here in Ontario!) and enjoy a sip of lemonade…

TOS Crew Blog Walking – Week 3

Photobucket

This is week three of the blog walking of the members of the TOS Homeschool Crew.

1. All American Family

The design of this blog is all about bring American.   I love it!  The red, white and blue all over is simply fabulous.   In this blog, you will learn more about another homeschool family of 3 kids.   They are passionate about their American heritage and you can sense it in this blog.

2. Growing Fruit

This is the blog of Amy, Queen of the household, and Prince Andrew, her son.   From what I can understand, Andrew is a special need child.  And reading on how someone is going through raising a special need child remind me of the challenges my sister-in-law and her husband will go through raising their own special need child, my nephew.

3. Learning to Teach

Learning to Teach is a new blog on the block.   The author is a mom of 2 kids which she homeschool as well as a foster mom for a young woman who goes to a public high school. She loves to scrapbook (hey!  another scrapbooker!) crochet, decorating, reading and vacationing with her family (another similar point in common with me!).

4. Codex Young Author's Publishing Program

This site belongs to brothers who purchased back in 2008 The Tutor.   I suspect that one of the owners will be reviewing for TOS Homeschool Crew this year.

5. Stairsteps Homeschool Academy

This is the homeschool blog of Little Farm Mama.    You can discover their activities and life at Stairsteps Homeschool Academy.   I particularly enjoyed reading about the volcano project (which reminded me that I need to do something similar this coming year with my own kids).

6. Kingdom Academy

Meet Brandy and her family who lives in Florida.   She has two boys whom she homeschool and she is a former teacher herself.    This blog is fairly new from what I can see.   Brandy writes about what happened during the week and what special lessons they boys are going through.

7. Living Sola Gratia

Here’s another lady named Brandi (different spelling though!) who has four kids.    I am always amazed when mom blogger who homeschool list their menu of the week and recipes.   I mean where do they find the time to do so?   Honestly I wonder but I also enjoy having new recipes so I am pleased to see recipes on this site.  The Super Yummy Taco Bake looks delicious…  Thanks Brandi!

8. Wynfield Christian Academy

This site is an accredited K-12 program for homeschool students.   I am suspecting that the owner of this site is also part of the TOS Homeschool Crew.  If you want to learn more about Wynfield Christian Academy check out their website.

9. The Cow Queen

The name is funny, the site is hilarious.   Well the images at the top are….  It is always nice to have a site that will bring a smile to your face and The Cow Queen did that when I came  to visit.  Beverly is the author of this site.  So where the name comes from you might wonder?   Well about 20 years ago, she was crowned the National Jersey Jug Queen.   The Jersey is a breed of dairy cattle.   Hence the name of the blog.   Which I think it totally cute!   I love her blog title Spring in the Kingdom – go see it to see how it finishes.   Smile!

10. Peace Creek on the Prairie

Here’s the blog of a mom of 6 little ones who is a farmwife as well.    I suspect that her life is quite busy with 6 kids and a farm.   I am looking forward to discover life on the farm with this family during the coming year.

Voilà!  Week three is wrapped up.   Follow me next week to discover another 10 members to the TOS Homeschool Crew.  Until then – have a nice week!

TOS Crew Blog Walking

Photobucket
Since the new cruise has started, we are busy to get to know each other, discover the new members on the TOS Crew and slowly learning which vendors will be part of the voyage.

This is my third year on the crew and this year I am a First Mate which means I have a mini-crew of 4 wonderful women under me.    As a First Mate, it is my duty to help them is questions arise and remind them that a review is due in the days to come.   Since my kids are quite young – ages 2, 4, 6, and 9 – I am part of the younger crew.

This year we are divided in two crews – the younger one and the older one.   The older crew will review products for high schoolers while the younger crew will cover the products for preschool and primary school.    I am so looking forward to this new adventure.   Already there are some interesting vendors that I can’t wait to review.

As part of learning about each, someone on the crew suggested that we do a blog walking.   It is an interesting idea and since I have missed week 1, I will post for the two weeks right now!

Week 1: June 14-18th
1. Reaping a Harvest
Alane is the author of this blog.   She is a mom of three boys (which reminded me of my life before the birth of our little girl).  What striked me when I came to her blog were two things: the word harvest and then a bunch of dandelions…  *grin*   Somehow I never thought of putting these two together.  LOL  Her blog is bright and makes me think of when I look up to God to guide me in my day to day live.
2. Pink & Orange Coffee
Lexi is the author of this blog.  She is the mom of one great kid who is 7.     Through this blog you can learn of her homeschool life, review that she will be doing during the coming year as well as jump over to her blog which is all about food.   (I love food and discovering new things so I will definetively jump to Big Momma and Me!)
3. Live, Laugh, Learn!
Alina is a mom of two kids who enjoys wearing multiple hats (well who wouldn’t when you are a stay-at-home mom?).    I love the title – Live, Laugh, Learn!    So true when you think about it.   We live.  It is important to laugh at everythin and anything – even ourselves.  And learning is an ongoing process for anyone…  In her blog you will discover who she is and how she keeps herself busy.
4. Mrs. Mandy's Musings
This blogger is a military wife and homeschooling mom of three kids.   She loves being creative and crafty (and her blog shows that very well!).   I think we would get along together as I also like to scrapbook and create cards.    While going through her blog, I discovered an interesting timeline that they have done during the year.   This timeline is very creative and follow the steps while going up and down the stairs.   I am not setup for this kind of possibility but I always love to see the ideas of other moms.   Thanks for sharing Mrs. Mandy!
5. The Fantastic Five
The first word that popped out of this blog was SUPERHERO.   LOL   And then that’s when I saw the picture of Wonder Mom…  So darn cute!  I also loved the journaling of the bird’s nest and the babies even though the end is not so joyful.
6. Refined Metals Academy
The author of this blog is a mom of one superhero and two princesses.    Amber is a busy mom who also homeschool her kids.    Refined Metals Academy is the homeschool of the family.  In here, you will have a direct link to their family blog as well as learn about their adventure in homeschooling three kids.    She also shares a lot of interesting ideas on how to involve the little ones in the homeschool.    With a preschooler in my own house, I will enjoy seeing what Amber is doing with her kids.
7. Just A Moment in Time
Amy is the author of this blog and she uses it to preserve memories, share ideas and connect with other mommies.    This year she will also share her adventure on the crew.  Right now I’ve enjoyed discovering another family who likes to camp.    Maybe some days we could meet up…
8. Providence Farm
Farming!  Yeah!  This family has a farm located in Frankston, Texas and they are specialised in grass-fed beef, farm fresh eggs, garden vegetables, homemade bread and jelly, seasonal fresh cut flowers, U-Pick strawberries and field trips.    WoW!  Talk about being busy like bees…   I would love to visit their farm and join forces to grow something.    Sounds like an adventure.  And I would love to taste grass-fed beef, farm fresh eggs and vegetables.     Yum!
9. My Journey
Meet Angela.    Mom of three kids she is also on the crew.   On her blog she also share reviews and their homeschool like.  She was part of the crew the first year we sailed to discover new homeschool products and I am pleased to see her part of the crew again this year.
10. Petra School
The author of this blog practice relaxed homeschooling which makes me think of the way we do school during the summer time.   Relaxing. Fishing. No stress allowed.   So why do I stressed out during the Fall/Winter months I wonder.   I look forward to discover more about Petra School and their adventure in homeschooling.
Now!  Week one is completed…  *grin*   Here’s week 2 blog walking.
Week 2:  June 21-25th
1. Second Star to the Right and Straight On Till Morning
The author of this blog is a mom of 4 who also have an interesting life in teaching her kids.  I like it when there are tons of pictures from the family.   It like we enter their world and see a bit of their life.     And this blog display lots of pictures of the kids having fun, things they made and much more.
2. Surviving The Testosterone
Amanda is a mom of three boys and there is tons of Testosterone in her house.    I really like the fresh look of her blog and I look forward to get to know her better.   I like the fact that she includes discussions she has with her boys.   Fun and different.
3. Family Style School
Here’s a mom who manages a homeschool of 4 kids (well I can related here for sure!).    Once again you learn from people thanks to their blog.  And here not only you will have reviews but also tidbits from their family life.   I look forward to discover more from this mom.
4. School Around The Bible
Here’s Amy’s blog.  WoW!  This reminds me of my high school and university agenda.  *grin*    I liked the style of her blog as soon as I saw it.  I still am like this with our homeschool agenda where I write, staple and use clips to hold things together.   Amy is a mom to three kids and is a former teacher.   The title of the blog “School Around the Table” reminds me of our situation as well.  The dining room table is our official place to write and do work.   *grin*   And the living room is the place where we read…
5. 1628 The Story of The Goebels 5
Andria is the mom of three kids and is new to the crew this year.    And I see that we have some things in common already – like CAMPING!   Yeah!  Another family to eventually meet to camp with.   Super!
6. Morris Family Madness
6 kiddos are making a full homeschool for this mom.  The blog is full of their experiences on a daily basis and is fun to read.    I find this mom very talented in sewing wonderful clothes for her kids.   I love the dresses the girls have.  I wished I had the patience to tackle something like that.
7. Homeschool Musings
April is a mom of three kids who also homeschool.   She is mostly using Sonlight Curriculum but is also part of the crew this year which means she will get a variety of new products to discover with her kids.   I look forward to get to know her better in the months to come.
8. Homeschooling (and then some!)
Meet April and her family.  This blog will bring details of their daily life as well as their homeschool days.     She seems to be excited to be part of the crew and to discover new homeschool products.   Remind me of how I felt the first year I was picked.  *grin*  It will be a great year April.  Guaranteed!
9. Heartfelt Homeschooling
OH!  I recognize this bright and fun blog setting.  It’s the same one as School Around the Table…*grin*   Did I mentioned to you that I loved it?   Seriously though April shares her life in many ways.  Like for example, her husband has ordered her a trophy for her titled Queen of the Pool!  How cute is that?  (okay to know the story behind this trophy you need to go read the blog…) I think it is a fun way to celebrate dedication to her family.   Congrats on the trophy April!
10. following Him home
Apryl is the author of this blog.  She is a mom and homeschooler who is also talented in drawing.  The drawing of her grand-mother made me think of my maternal-grandmother.    And then I got all nostalgic because I miss her even after all those years.    *sigh*

Voilà!   I’ve completed the first two weeks of blog walking with the crew.  With over 200 crew members I will continue to present you the rest of the folks who are part of this wonderful adventure.    Stay tune for more blogs to visit…
