My Thoughts
This is definitively an interesting product from K’Nex. I have seen the roller coasters and the ferris wheels in the past but I think this is the first time that a dinosaur comes to life with K’Nex classic pieces.
The instructions found in this box are very clear and easy to follow. However, I can understand why this particular product is geared for children ages 7 and up because some of the instructions are more complicated for younger ages. Though I wouldn’t be surprised that a bright 5 or 6 years old would be able to build the K’NEXosaurus Rex alone.
Not only will you have the instructions to build the K’NEXosaurus Rex but you also have the instructions to build the Megasaurus! Once either one is built, you can watch it move with stomping action. The tail and the head even has movement!
However, please note that you will need 2 AA batteries for this toy.
My only disappointment is that the box is quite big for what it contains. I would have thought that K’NEX would have taken a stand in having less packaging for a product when you could literally put everything in about half the size of the current packaging.
