Slammers

After seeking new companies for opportunities to review their products, I got a positive answer from Imports Dragon.  I have received in fact a variety of products from this toy distributor as well as giveaways.

About the product

Open your hears, hold your hammer and be ready for action with Slammers!

Wait and listen for one of the unique sounds coming from the sound randomizer and SLAM, use your slapstick to grab one of the cards that matches the sound.

You have to be fast because everybody is trying to grab the correct cards and the randomizer plays new sounds at short intervals.

If you're quick and accurate, collect match pairs for BONUS points!

The player with the most points after three rounds of play wins!  Geared for kids ages 6 and up.   For more details go to http://www.basicconcepttoys.com/slammers.html#.

My Thoughts

I think this is going to be a fun game for my kids.  A bit of competition is always fun and I am certain that the boys will enjoy playing this game.

I even think that I could play it with my daughter who will turn three this weekend since it would be a good game to play to recognize the sounds and the animals associated with the sounds.  However, I would not let her play with her older brothers until she is more used to spot the proper card rapidly.

52 cards are included in this game as well as four hammers. It is easy to spread the cards on the table and be in a competitive mode when playing it.    I can imagine lots of laughter and yells while playing this in our household – the boys tend to become loud when playing such a game.  *grin*   But what is important is the fun time spend together while playing games.

GREAT NEWS!

Imports Dragons is giving one of my readers a Slammers game..

To get a chance to win these please tell me the kind of games your family play together.

Open to Canadians only!

Contest closes on December 21st.

  3. This sounds like a fun game!

Our favourite to play with the children right now is Scrabble Jr. It helps all of them, whether it be with fluent reading, sounding words out or letter recognition.
