CARE:  For best results, allow The Original^TM Dish Drying Mat to thoroughly dry between uses. Frequently machine wash with like colors in cold water using liquid detergent, and before first use. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not use bleach, fabric softener or dryer sheets.
CAUTION: The Original^TM Dish Drying Mat should not be used as a pot holder, oven mitt, or hot pad.

My Thoughts

When I first discovered that I would review The Original Dish Drying Mat I was excited because I could see the numerous possibilities for this item in our RV.  However, when I received the product I was initially disappointed with its size.  There was no way that this would cover the area I was thinking about in my RV.   So I decided to test it at home instead where it found a place next to my kitchen sink…

After one washing session, I was delighted to have it.   It is simply amazing to have on your counter top when you wash by hand.   In the past I would use a dish towel but the absorption was limited.   This marvelous dish mat has definitively a superior absorbency than regular dish towels!    My dishes is drying really fast with this special mat.  The mat is quite thick and can absorb about four times its weight in water!

What I particularly like about this item it was it can be easily fold to store or that I can place it under my small appliances to protect the counter if necessary.    It is easy to use and will protect your delicate dishes or stemware when you are not using the dishwasher.    You could also hang the dish mat for storage if you like.

Not only it can be useful at home but it is perfect for RVers as they travel around the country.   I am so delighted with it that I am considering getting an extra large on for the RV so that I don’t have to worry about soaked dish towels next year.
