Canon really go through life without having relationships? I doubt it. When you start thinking about it you you realize that whether you like it or not you need to interact with people. We were designed for relationships – plain and simple.
Having people around you is essential for encouragement, strength, balance, fulfillment, and more.
Being friends with godly people… doesn’t happen by chance. We must pray that such people will come into our lives
I agree with what the author has said in the book. Having good friends as a couple is something to prayerfully consider. Not everyone will be a good match with you both.
As a wife, I need to pray for all my husband’s relationships – wife, children, parents, siblings, extended family, employees, clients, contacts at consulting firms, neighbours, his mother-in-law, and his interactions with strangers.
Lord, I pray for Rob to have godly male friends with whom he can share his heart without fear of being judged. May they be trustworthy and speak the truth into his life. Give him discernment to separate himself from bad influences. Please give us believing married couples with whom we can feel comfortable sharing our lives. I pray for strong relationships with anyone on his path. May open communication and mutual respect be present. If reconciliation needs to take place may You be present in the process. Enable him to forgive anyone who might have hurt him.
John 13:34-35
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
Tomorrow the chapter is about His Fatherhood.
