My Thougths – or should I say my mother-in-law’s thoughts…

I was curious about this cream as it is suppose to help your skin to rejuvenates if it is sun damaged.    But at the same time, I knew that my skin is special…  You see I have extreme sensitive skin and anything with fragrance in it can cause problem.   I have a cream that I use daily but I was open to try something new.  

When I received the package I immediately looked at the bottle.   The bottle is fabulous is you ask me.  I thought it was well designed and different that what I encountered in the past.   Nothing was mentioned about skin reaction on it so I decided to try it out the next morning.   It smelled nicely but within 5 minutes of having the cream on, I could sense some itching starting…   In 15 minutes, more itching has invaded my face and I had to go and remove the cream because it bothered me.    However, I must say that I didn’t had any redness or swelling.   But having the sensation of itch was fun.    

So I asked my mother-in-law is she had sensitive skin.   She told me that no her skin was normal.   I asked her if she would mind trying the cream for me since I had a reaction to it.   She was delighted to give it a try and tell me what she thought of it.    Here’s her comments:

The cream is very moisturizing.I don’t find it greasy at all.  It leaves my skin soft and gives a natural feeling.  I enjoy and look forward to applying it every day.  I find it protect my skin all day long.

I am so glad that she enjoys the cream and I am grateful that she took the time to test it and comment on it.    She is quite pleased with the product and use it daily.

The product Repair & Protect daytime facial cream from Sibu Beauty is available for purchase directly from their website for the price of 20.95$.  Personally I find it a bit expensive considering the size of the container – 1 oz.    But when you think that it is made primarily of an exotic berry that thrives in the harsh conditions and high altitude of the Himalayas in Tibet I guess the price makes sense.
