My Thoughts

This book is the new edition of the title since 1999.    If you want to discover more about David and how his journey led for him to be a recognized king of Israel, this book will guide you through his whole life.  Beth Moore is clearly decorticating every events in the life of David and lead you to discover the man behind the name.

Whether you read about his days as a shepherd, how he became a fugitive for a certain number of years and even when he became the king, David has always serve God.  Okay I will admit that he had flaws (who doesn’t) and sinned but every time he turned back to his Lord and repented.   David is an example for every Christians.   He poured out his heart numerous times while writing the Psalms in good and bad times.    Even when make errors, he quickly acknowledge them and turn toward God.

This book will encourage you to discover more about God’s love for you and how you can serve him more.   Reading through this book will definitively motivate you to grow your relationship with God.
