About the game

A fast paced game for two players to get your brain and fingers racing. Shake the scrambler and go head to head with your opponent to shift and slide the tiles to be the first to make the 3x3 centre match the pattern.

Our Thoughts

One frisky Sunday evening, my husband and I opened this game to play with.   The game is quite easy to set up.  However, I find that the base will unhook itself every once in a while.

Once you have set up the game – base and tiles,  you can now shake the mini cube in order to determine what colors you will have to place in the middle of your play area.  So our challenge were the following colors…

So the challenge was on.   As fast as you can, you need to reproduce the same colors in the middle of your play area.  The sides around it do not count…   So with rapid fingers and quick thinking, you need to be the first one to complete the challenge.

Once you have completed it, you need to bring the Rubik’s Race window down to indicate that you have finished.

The Rubik’s Race game is quite fast and will challenge you to be quick both in your thinking and your fingers.    We played five games that night and my husband won four of them.   I need to practice more often to be faster than him.    Once we had both completed the challenge but he was quicker to bring the windows down.

This game is quite entertaining even though it is rapid.   You can easily play numerous games in a row.  Though I suspect that players would be tired of it after 20 minutes or so.   However, I find this game perfect to develop rapidity, quick thinking, and friendly competition.

I would recommend this game for everyone.   It is a great game for kids and adults.   You can adapt this game to homeschool as well as it is great for 5 years old and up.

The game is also available on iTunes for 0.99$.

Available on the Rubik’s official website or on amazon.com.
