Our Thoughts

We received the PJ Tot Bonnie Bunny and her adorable sleeping bag earlier this week.   I must admit that the delivery was quite fast.   

Bonnie Bunny is very cute and has caught the love of my 3 years old daughter immediately.   When she saw that there was a sleeping bag included with this doll her eyes brighten up.     “My baby will be able to sleep with me!” she said.

She immediately proceed to put Bonnie Bunny inside her sleeping bag which also had bunny ears and has the same colors as the doll.    This little doll doesn’t leave her since she entered our household.   It is her baby girl like she says.    She is even talking about  bringing her to camping with us when we open our RV later in May.   *grin*

The doll is very soft and easy to grab for little hands.   Her head will turn easily even though it is made of plastic.    However, I am questioning the use of plastic for the head and hands.     The doll is made in China and knowing the issues we have discovered in the past few years I am wondering if Manhattan Toys have put in place verification for quality assurance when plastic is involved.  The details of the face are painted.    Knowing that Manhattan Toy is also being the Groovy Girls, wouldn’t it be wiser to decide to include a soft head instead?    I am just wondering…

Nevertheless, Jasmine is carrying her doll everywhere she goes in the house.   On Tuesday the doll was at the dining table during the homeschool lessons while Jasmine was drawing.   Bonnie was also with us when we watch an episode of Star Wars Clone Wars Season 2 after supper time.   I suspect that Bonnie will be part of Jasmine life for a while.

Part of me wish I had received Lola Ladybug and her snuggly for my girl as I find it is totally adorable…. and we both loves ladybugs.   But Jasmine adores Bonnie Bunny as it is pink and it has a ton of hearts all over her PJ and snuggly.
