Our Thoughts
On this snowy morning (yes today Saturday Nov 27th!), we sat down as a family and enjoyed watching a classic that both my husband and I used to watch often during the Christmas season when we were younger. Frosty the Snowman brought back memories of watching this movie whenever it came up on television when we were younger.
Now my kids can enjoy this classic show as well as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town. After we watched the original Frosty movie, we decided to watch the follow-up movie that was made in 1992. Frosty Returns was a disappointment for my husband and I. Not sure what we were expecting but the story didn’t grab our attention. Even my nine years old son wasn’t impressed. It was just not the same as the original. The cartoons of Frosty Returns reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas movie.
If you grew up in the 70s and early 80s, you will remember these fun cartoons that came every year on the television during Christmas time. They are so clean that you can trust them to be entertaining without worrying about the content with your own kids. If you enjoyed these when you are younger, why not introducing your kids to them? It would be a great family time to spend together. I am looking forward to watch Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town with my kids in the weeks to come.

We love these classics and it seems when I bring out the Christmas video/music storage box, it is these classics that get the kids ooohing and aaaahing.
